Linking statolith chemistry of Aplysia californica to watershed runoff along the open coast of southern California
After graduating, Mike Navarro completed a Ph.D. with advisor Dr. Lisa Levin at University of California San Diego, Scripps Institution of Oceanography where he studied the consequences of environmental variability for spawning and embryo development of inshore market squid Doryteuthis opalescens. He is now an NSF Ocean Sciences Division Post-Doctoral Scholar at CSU Monterey Bay working with Dr. Corey Garza on a geomorphological/biological study on the continental shelf of Monterey Bay, USA.
